RARE EARTH 2011 CONFERENCE; 13-17 SEPTEMBER 2011
I attended the CCCMC and Metal-Pages Rare Earth 2011 Conference; which was held on the 13-17th of September 2011 in Beijing, China. It was a great opportunity to showcase TUC's Rare Earth prospects.

TRADITIONAL LAND OWNER MEETING; 7 SEPTEMBER 2011
Attending a Traditional Land Owner meeting at a community south of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.

I also got to check out some of the local sights in Tennant Creek.

TENEMENT STRATEGY; 2 SEPTEMBER 2011
On an annual basis the NT Titles legislation dictates that we must either relinquish half our tenements or demonstrate why we should be allowed to keep the full amount. The picture below shows Andrew Chapman and myself thinking hard on our relinquishment strategy. Every year gets harder to make the decision to drop ground as the quality of the ground remaining increases as we further our exploration on the projects. Alternatively, the strong exploration results of late have made it easier to justify to the NT Titles Department why we should be allowed to keep the ground. We have also recently been thinking about picking up new ground based on some interesting geological ideas.

UNIQUE VALUE PROPOSITION; 19 AUGUST 2011
This week I am in Perth meeting a few people including our process metallurgist and mineralogist. I will also be visiting some of the broking houses to give an update on TUC’s progress. Earlier in the week I took the opportunity to brush up on my presentation and communication skills in a workshop run by Rolene Liebenberg of CSC Coaching & Sales Consultancy. Rolene gave me a few tips on how best to communicate TUC’s unique value proposition. Watch out for the next investor presentation! The picture below shows some of my Colleagues on the course.
Pictured left to right back row: Nick Woolf (CFO Phylogica), Lyndon Hopkins (CEO Equator Resources); Left to right front row: Anthony Barton (CEO Australian Heritage), Me, and Richard Wolanski (MD Spiwa).

It Looks Good From The Air; 5 August 2011
This week we got to have a look at the development of the Quantum Rare Earth project from the air whilst we were out and about. The photo below was taken on the way down to our Daly Rare Earth Projects in a helicopter. It was exciting to see all the drill lines and drill pads lined up at Quantum. The picture gives a good sense for the potential size of the project and my imagination ran riot on what lies beneath the ground. Somewhere down there are two drill rigs!
