THE FUTURE
Asset Development
TUC will continue to aggressively explore and develop its Stromberg Heavy Rare Earth (HREE) discovery towards an initial resource. In addition, work will build on developing promising early stage mineralogical and metallurgical data to help this niche HREE prospect develop a path to market. Stromberg district HREE prospects such as the Scaramanga prospect will undergo first pass drilling to help highlight the total exploration potential of the area.
In 2012, first pass drilling into newly identified HREE prospects in the highly prospective Pine Creek region is also planned.
At the Calvert project in the Gulf of Carpentaria, TUC will commence a more advanced program to drill test a number of base metal and gold targets.
At the Panoramic Resources Joint Venture in the Tennant Creek region, second pass drilling is planned to test a new area of rare earth anomalism identified in RAB drilling in 2011.
Asset Commercialisation
TUC will continue to look to introduce partners to help provide leverage from its large ground position where:
- Exploration requires a separate focus;
- Where early alignment with an industry partner is prudent due to downstream considerations;
- The resource development process will benefit from accelerated investment and or additional expertise.
TUC are actively seeking the investment and involvement from major rare earth industry partners to help us develop our Stromberg Heavy rare earth prospect more rapidly.
Examples of TUC's previous commercial activities include an option to explore agreement with Rio Tinto on a bauxite prospective tenement near the Gove aluminum processing facility, the sale of non-core tenements to major Chinese mining organisation Anhui Geology and Investments, and the copper gold joint venture at Tennant Creek with Panoramic Resources.
Asset Acquisition
TUC are currently seeking to expand their project portfolio into new and exciting ground primarily and preferentially within Australia. Purchsae of tenements and pegging strategies are currently being followed.
A focus on ground around existing TUC projects and infrastructure is planned to build core areas for TUC's future. In 2011, ground was successfully pegged around TUC's Stromberg District. Exploration ground was acquired in the Pine Creek area (Accacia Project).
TUC is currently in a number of confidential and commercial discussions with possible partners with respect to its HREE assets and some corporate activity is under consideration.
Asset Management
Continued development of best practice with respect to socially responsible operation, tenement management and land access will ensure TUC's business reputation is held most favorably with regulatory and representative bodies. It is hoped that this strategy will see further success in 2012 with respect to ground access to TUC's tenements around the Stromberg HREE district and in the world class Alligator River Uranium Field.
