Safety, Health Environment and Community

TUC believes that issues relating to Health and Safety, the Environment and Social Responsibility are value driven leadership behaviours which should be core to all its Employees. Safe, successful exploration, and access to ground, will only be achieved through an ongoing commitment to this belief.

The Company continues to develop its management system through a continuous improvement process to successfully lead our field activities in relation to safety, land access and care for the environment. Systems constantly under review include:

  • a comprehensive Radiation Management Plan; and
  • a Worksafe approved Risk Management Plan.

The Company is a member of the Minerals Council of Australia and abides by its code of conduct for explorers in the NT.

The Company is a member of the Australian Uranium Association who are advocates for the safe and responsible expansion of the Australian uranium industry. The Company is represented on the associations Code of Conduct Committee.

The Company is a member of the Chamber of Commerce NT.

The Company consults with Traditional Aboriginal Landowners, communities and Native Title claimants through the Northern Land Council, the Central Land Council and the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority.
